The roomies and I are watching BET for no particular reason whatsoever. Scary, huh? I feel like I am chillin with Doug at home... but I am chillin with Amy and Amber at Saint Mary's. Heh.
We have switched to Saturday Night Live now... Jimmy Fallon, rawr. He is so cute.

I know this is a little after the fact... but compiling that list made me think of a few random observations from two concerts I saw last month.
At the Family Values Tour in Chicago on October 12, during the Stone Temple Pilots' set, Scott Weiland annouced that he was bringing out some friends to help play the next song... and out came the guys from Filter. I was definitely not expecting to hear a STP/Filter duet of "Hey Man Nice Shot" that night... fantastic!!!
At the U2 concert at Notre Dame on October 10, Bono brought out a group of New York policemen and firefighters and walked with them around the heart-shaped stage... it was really touching, we gave them a hell of an ovation. Speaking of touching, I must say that U2's live rendition of "Amazing Grace" is absolutely incredible. I almost cried.

You know what my favorite aspect of concerts is? Watching the crowds get into it, and bonding with your mutual love of the music. Singing in unison, jumping around, screaming like mad, mosh pits and lighters... concert togetherness, it's a wonderful thing.

On this note, I bid you goodnight.
