I am feeling...
"It's ghetto-rific!!!"
Greetings and salutations.....
Hey yo, long time no see. I have been rather preoccupied these days... things are finally looking up, and hopefully everything will fall back into place. So let's begin, shall we?
1. My boring class-- So I walk into my professor's office on Wednesday night to apologize for not being in class for the last two weeks (last Wednesday being spent all day with Will, and the Wednesday before spent hanging with Becky at Fanatic U, and then wandering over to Doug's). As soon as I said hello, he said, "Hey. Don't bother making up an excuse, I don't really care. It's all cool." So I didn't. He gave my paper back (5/5, hell yeah) and all the handouts I missed, and told me to turn in any work I missed next week. All I gotta do is catch up now. Shibby.
2. My state of employment-- So I have a job now. I am babysitting for Becky's cousins from Monday-Friday, 8-5. Not bad, I can handle it. It's money. I'll be able to afford a ticket to Moby now... and a computer for next year... and to pay my credit card bill. Life is good. :)
3. My room-- Since finding out that I will soon be employed, I have been inexplicably thrown headlong into this cleaning frenzy. Sure, I cleaned my room a few weeks ago when I moved everything around, but I still have to go through my old magazines and figure out which doubles I am going to put in my scrapbook. I was making very little progress at first, but since I feel all motivated now, I am making some serious progress in clearing out the huge pile of stuff in front of my closet. It's the only messy part of my room, and it bothers me.
4. My future-- The orientation packet for ROTC came today. I picked up the mail on the way over to my grandma's with Wesley, and I opened it at her house... I started bawling like an idiot because I'm so happy that I'm finally starting in a few months. Just wait- pretty soon, Joker won't be the only one in our Crew to be in uniform. :)
Well. That's about it for now. The Brockways just left our house... I find it so weird still that my mom and Mrs. Brockway are friends. I found this out two years ago when I walked in our front door and literally ran into Don. They were borrowing our tent thing for his grad party... so now, two years later, they're borrowing it again for Mike's. And once more, I walked in our front door and ran smack into a Brockway. At least, I think Don is the older brother. Whatever.
Anyways, I'm off to Westland Mall with Aniela, and then to Doug's, so I can get ghetto-fied and go to some random rap concert. (Who the hell are the Beatnuts, Doug??? ;) ) Laters.
