"I am officially retired..."
Greetings and salutations.....
Catching up with things... Saturday was a great day to be a techie. Angela, Doug, and I were hatching all these insidious plots to steal Ryan's hat and do all sorts of odd things to it... stapling it to his head, filling it with refried beans, throwing a steak under his hat and letting vultures loose after him... the possibilities were endless. We also planned to release a bunch of small woodland creatures underneath the stage at some point during the show to let them run all over the place. And of course, we can't forget our backstage diversions... the barricade, the picket line, and the poker game. :)
So now I am officially retired from stage crew. I feel so... empty. I have a life now that I have no idea what to do with. :) But we did go out with quite a bang... and I broke my toe. More on that later, though... ;)
